Five Detroit women creatives demonstrate community over competition with a styled shoot at Tribe Detroit. Shop the looks below!
Story and Photography by Alyssa Leffler
Styling by Christina Brillati
Hair and makeup by Andreea Bona
Florals by Diana Noone
Model: Jenna Long
Location: Tribe Detroit
We came together as five Detroit female creatives to put together a local styled shoot. Christina Brillati came up with the wardrobe and decor, and allowed us to bring our visions together at her studio, Tribe Detroit. Diana Noone brought her exquisite talents to life with he florals, Andreea Bona perfected each look with hair and makeup, and Jenna was a talented model to work. I captured the fun from beginning to end. Working with other creatives is what we love about this area: Detroit really is community over competition.
We all decided on a whimsical theme for the first half of the shoot and a modern bold color theme for the second. This styled shoot meant more than just collaborating — it was building relationships and sparking each other’s creativity to keep stepping outside of our comfort zones and going for it!
