Lunchtime Walks: Mindful Meditation Through the Parks

Relax and disconnect from a busy day with walking meditation. Starting at Campus Martius, every Thursday you can join the group, and walk to various parks downtown — stopping at each one for a mindfulness activity. Admission is free.

Art in the Elements is perfect for all art and nature lovers. At this event, you can experience the sights of The Great Estate’s woodland paths while browsing over 20 large-scale floral art sculptures and designs. Then, enjoy a self-guided tour through The Hall’s art collection and floral designs. Admission is $20 for adults. Family craft activities will also be offered from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. World’s Largest Plant-Based Potluck Picnic

Grab some friends and an oil-free, plant-based dish for the World’s Largest Plant-Based Potluck Picnic in Birmingham. You can indulge in healthy eats in a food tent, or bring a blanket and enjoy your meal in the grass. Alongside the great food will be live entertainment, games and music. Attendees must bring an oil-free, plant-based dish that can feed 10. Tickets are $5 on Eventbrite.
