Forgotten Harvest’s 29th Comedy Night featuring Seth Myers, Fox Theatre
Seth Myers, an Emmy Award-winning writer and host of Late Night with Seth Meyers, teams up with Oak Park-based Forgotten Harvest to fight food insecurity across Metro Detroit. Proceeds from tickets, sponsorships, and auction sales will benefit Forgotten Harvest’s distribution efforts to its network of more than 180 agencies in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. Forgotten Harvest’s goal, with Meyers’ help, is to raise vital funds to provide more than two million meals for those in need in Metro Detroit. Freep Film Festival 2022
It’s back! This documentary-focused festival put on by the Detroit Free Press features incredible films with strong ties to the people, places and issues affecting Detroit and Michigan. Films are shown in various locations like the Michigan Science Center, DIA, Birmingham Theater, Redford Theater, etc. The much anticipated Magic Johnson documentary will close this year’s festival at 6 pm at thd DIA. Make Homemade Miso Ramen at The Kitchen by Cooking With Que

Mountain Dew’s “Flamin’ Hot” launch party in Hell, Michigan

Mountain Dew is celebrating the launch of it’s new “Flamin’ Hot” beverage with a one day celebration in Hell, Michigan, featuring DJ Pauly D. For those of you who don’t know, Hell, Michigan is north west of Ann Arbor and south of Howell. Rapper and gourmet chef Action Bronson will also be there with his special Mountain Dew / Frito Lay “Flamin’ Hot” menu. There will food, drinks, mini-golf, giveaways, artists, music and so much more!
