Learn to Line Dance at Coyote Joe’s – Friday, Feb. 25
Get your boot-scootin’ boogie on at Coyote Joe’s for free line dance lessons hosted by blogger Alyssa of Things to do Metro Detroit. There is a $5 cover charge at the door and $2 off drinks from 8 – 10 pm.
Dua Lipa at Little Caesars Arena – Friday, Feb. 25
In March 2020, Dua Lipa released her hit second album, Future Nostalgia. Almost two years later, the British singer-songwriter is kicking off a North American tour that will bring her Grammy-winning tunes to the stage. Ticketmaster.com
Royal Oak Whiskey Fest at the Royal Oak Farmers Market – Saturday, Feb. 26
6 pm – 10 pm
Sample the best whiskies and rye’s from around the world while enjoying live music. Tickets are $65 and include early entrance at 6 pm, an exclusive cocktail tasting, 15 whiskey samples, a commemorative glass and photo, plus live music entertainment. Pączki Party at Detroit City Distillery – Saturday, Feb. 26

The Black Art Library at the DIA – Sunday, Feb. 27

Explore the collection of Asmaa Walton’s Black Art Library, while enjoying the tasty treats of Kresge Court. This exhibit showcases Black visual artists and and includes monographs, catalogs, children’s books, artist memoirs and biographies, art history texts, and other art-related ephemera.
