How about a toast to October at The Detroit Cocktail Classic at Eastern Market! This event features some of the city’s most popular bars, spirits and brands  who will serve up craft cocktails. VIP tickets are $85 and include 15 sample cocktails plus light appetizers starting at 6 pm. General admission is $50 and includes 10 cocktail samples starting at 7 pm.

Downtown Berkley’s Restaurant Weekend & Night Market – Friday & Saturday Oct 1 – 2

This October downtown Berkley has tons of fun shopping, dining and Halloween-themed festivities to enjoy. Kick off the month with their restaurant weekend and night market, where a dozen Berkley restaurants will offer food and brew specials. On Saturday, Oct 2, the city will host a Night Market where participating businesses such as  Berkley Eyewear, Toadvine Books, Ullman’s Health & Beauty, Amici’s Kitchen & Living Room, Berkley Common and more, will offer customers shopping steals and deals. Complimentary trolley service will be available to transport guests between Downtown Berkley’s two commercial corridors. Boathouse Beer Fest – Saturday, Oct 2

Raise a glass to help restore the historic Belle Isle Boathouse! Sample 100+ beers, spirits and cocktails while enjoying the gorgeous views along the river and admiring the architecture of the Boat House. Proceeds go towards restoration efforts of this gem built in 1902. Tickets start at $50 and must be purchased in advance. This event sells out so get your tickets while they last! ‘Down on the Farm’ at Cranberry Lake Historical Farm  – Saturday, October 2

Enjoy the best of fall in the country at the FREE Cranberry Lake Historical Farm ‘Down on the Farm’ event this Saturday. You’ll learn about horses, chickens, beekeeping, spinning, quilting, and tractors, enjoy live music, hayrides and much more.  Cranberry Lake historical farm is a 16 acre historical district next to the 213 acre Cranberry Lake Park, which includes restored main farm house, caretaker house, Flumerfelt Barn, carriage barn, spring house, greenhouse, henhouse, hatchling house, and wild game brooder. This is an incredible gem in Oakland County representing the area’s agricultural history.

Drag Queen Bingo Brunch – Sunday, October 3

Comedy plus brunch. There is no better way to end your weekend but with the Five15 Drag Queen for her hilarious Drag Queen Bingo comedy extravaganza. Prepaid tickets are required in advance and seating is limited. Tickets include a boxed brunch, coffee and tea are included. Alcohol and specialty drinks are available for purchase.
