Walk for Wishes, Detroit Zoo
The Walk For Wishes is a nationwide Make-A-Wish fundraiser that supports the organizations efforts of granting wishes for children with critical illnesses. Tulip Time Festival, Holland
While not technically in Metro Detroit, The Tulip Times Festival in Holland is a bucket list item for all Michiganders! Celebrate the hundreds of thousands of tulips that bloom in Holland at this festival which is ranked in the top 20 events in the world by the International Festival and Events Organization. Wildflower Walk with Mom, Indian Springs Metro Park

It’s finally Spring and time to celebrate Mom on this wildflower and warbler walk at Indian Springs Metro Park. Enjoy the sweet sound of warblers and other songbirds before they head farther north, while viewing the blooming wildflowers along the trail. Bring binoculars if you have them. World Expo of Beer, Frankenmuth
Hop in your car and head north on I 75 to check out 350 different beers from around the world at the World Expo of Beer in Frankenmuth.
