This Thursday night, take a wagon ride through Westview Orchards & Winery’s sunflower patch, and paint a sunflower-inspired wine glass (or two) in a class led by Lisa Ellen Art. The African World Festival is the perfect way to add some cheer (and great food) to your weekend. At this celebration, expect authentic food and clothing from African, African American and Caribbean vendors. Join Wayne County Parks on a hike through the hidden trails at Bennett Arboretum in Northville. Attendees can learn about different plants and trees as they enjoy the beauty of the trails and get some exercise. Admission is $3 per person and $4 for non-Wayne County residents. This one-day extravaganza will blow you away with cars and culture. At the Woodward Dream Cruise, you can gaze at more than 40,000 classic vehicles from around the world. But, the cars aren’t the only attraction — there will be live performances, food vendors and many local businesses you can enjoy while you aren’t watching the hot rods cruise down Woodard Ave. Admission is free.
