Spring 2015 makeup trends.
“Spring 2015 trends are calling for light eye makeup, browns and golds — to be specific — and fine lines for eyeliner,” says Haley Cassar, director of salon operations at Luigi Bruni Salon in Birmingham. “A pop of color on the lips — salmon, fuchsia and berry — are gorgeous for special events you will be attending. Marsala is said to be the everyday lip color of 2015. ”
For the cover shoot, Cassar says, “Andi’s look consisted of light foundation and powder and light bronzer for the cheek — making sure you could still see her natural features — especially her freckles. I used brown and Earth tones for her shadow and highlighter under her brows. For the fine lines on her lids, I used bronze and gold.”
How She Got The Look
Cassar used the following products to achieve Andi’s look, all available at the salon:
Foundation: LBS Signature Hydrating Liquid Foundation, $30; Setting Powder: LBS Signature Baked Hydrating Powder Foundation, $16; Cheek: BH Cosmetics “Glamorous Blush,” $30; Lip: Red Velvet automatic long-lasting lip liner, $12 and LipToxyl Temptress gloss, $20; Eyes: liner on top lid; LBS Sinature Black Cat Eyeliner, $12; and various MAC eye shadows.
From The Hair Stylist:
“I think Spring 2015 hair trends are calling for enhancing your natural texture, braids, accentuating a deep part and experimenting with innovative techniques,” says Luigi Bruni hair stylist Kevin Green.
Green used Oribe: Royal Blowout, $49, before setting her hair in bobby pins. He teased it for dimension and texture using Kerastse: VIP Volume in Powder spray, $31, and used Bumble and Bumble: Pret A powder, $26, for volume at the root. NS
