On July 19, Shades of Pink Foundation held its first annual charity golf outing at Forest Lake Country Club in Bloomfield Hills. More than 90 golfers joined in support of the Birmingham-based nonprofit, which provides temporary financial assistance to those in need while undergoing breast cancer treatment and has helped hundreds of breast cancer patients and survivors throughout Southeast Michigan since its founding in 2005.
