Jacqui Green grew up in Metro Detroit as a competitive figure skater. In a world full of Swarovski crystals and dazzling dresses, she never fell short of inspiration and finding ways to express herself. Now, senior at Oakland University, she is obtaining a degree in marketing and business analytics, but her passion for expressing herself through her fashion sense still carries on. Melody Sharrak, owner and experience curator behind Mesh Detroit, has been drumming to the beat of her own fashion drum since a young age. With a love for street wear, Melody cares less about what is trendy and more about what she feels the most herself in. Let’s just say she makes a T-shirt and a pair of joggers look chic! And speaking of fashion, Melody has evolved her company Mesh Detroit, that originally started off as an event planning company, to be an overall outlet for designing products and curating beautiful experiences that tell a unique story.
