Empire Kitchen & Cocktails, the latest restaurant coming to Brush Park in Detroit, announced today that it will be open to the public on May 14.
Co-owners and friends Michael Abrams and Brian Adelman, both Metro Detroit natives, say they hope the American style bistro at Woodward and Erskine will attract crowds from Little Caesars Arena and nearby Midtown. The restaurant’s patio for dining outside is also a draw.
“When you enter Empire you will immediately feel the excitement and energy — that unique vibe that is so inviting,” Adelman said in a statement. “From the couch in the dining room, to the garage doors that open in the summer, as well as an outdoor patio, it’s the perfect place to meet friends for drinks, take a carry-out during the week or bring families downtown for dinner.”
Empire will initially open for dinner, and will add lunch and brunch. The menu, created by operating partner Aaron Lowen of Farmington Hills, will be released next month.
The new eatery is located at the northwest corner of The Scott. Take a look inside in the photo gallery above.
