Historic buildings, world-renowned artists and a really good cup of coffee.
Hosted by Rachel Schostak
Dan Mullen is the President of Bedrock Real Estate, but make no mistake – this is no ordinary real estate company. They specialize in the strategic redevelopment of midwestern urban cores – which goes way beyond buying, selling and leasing commercial properties. They work closely with the City, businesses, planners, artists, retailers and restaurants to create unique experiences throughout town.
From the renovation of multiple historic buildings that have been vacant for years, to art installations, to food trucks and concerts, fashion shows and huge national retailers, Dan has played a role in it all. So I jumped at the chance to have Dan take me around his “town”, share his go-to spots, and give us a behind the scenes look into the incredible things he gets to work on in Detroit.
Trust me – you’ll be blown away…
What is really cool to us, is how they are bringing those historic buildings that have sat vacant for years, back to life! The transformations are so incredible, it could be a hit TV series on HGTV. Seriously.
