The Rugiero Family and University of Michigan Comprehensive Diabetes Center teamed up to raise over $50,000 for diabetes research on Saturday, Oct. 27 during the 8th annual Rugiero Casino Royale. The event was hosted in the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, where the main hall was transformed into a bustling casino. After the live auction and silent auction, guests played blackjack, craps and roulette. All the proceeds went toward finding a cure for diabetes.
