1. Rose’s Fine Food and Wine
10551 E Jefferson Ave, Detroit
Rose’s Fine Food and Wine is offering dozen, half-dozen and single orders of paczki on a first-come, first-serve basis February 15-16, starting at 7:00 am. This year the shop is also collaborating with FOLK for a bundle option to celebrate Fat Tuesday. Order online here for a pack of six mixed paczki and your choice of FOLK coffee beans or chai mix, then pick up your order at FOLK between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm on February 15.
2. SugarBuzz Bakery
23131 Woodward Ave, Ferndale
If you’re in need of a vegan option, look no further than SugarBuzz Bakery. Available in two flavors, custard and raspberry, paczki preorders can be placed over the phone or in person at their bakery in Ferndale. The preorder cut off is 6:00 pm on February 14.
3. Give Thanks Bakery
225 S Main St, Rochester
At Give Thanks Bakery, paczki flavors include chocolate, cream, lemon and raspberry. Paczki are $3 each and can be pre-ordered online before February 12.
4. New Palace Bakery
9833 Joseph Campau Ave, Hamtramck
Self-described as the “paczki headquarters,” New Palace Bakery is offering a variety of delicious flavors, like PB&J! This year, the bakery has five box options available for purchase. The store will be open at 3:00 am (you read that right) on February 16 and pre-orders can be placed over the phone.
5. Zingerman’s Bakehouse
3711 Plaza Dr, Ann Arbor
In honor of Fat Tuesday, Zingerman’s Bakehouse is offering five flavorful filling choices; raspberry jam, lemon cream, sweet ricotta, chocolate pudding and rose hip jam. Preorder your paczki by phone or stop by their Ann Arbor shop to place your order for pick up on February 16.
