Great art doesn’t only live inside museums and galleries. If you’re in need of some creative inspo — or just something awesome to look at — check out these four art-filled spots around the city.

Eastern Market is known for the captivating murals and vibrant street art. Fun fact: Within the past six years, over 100 murals were produced there by local artists!
3600 Heidelberg St, Detroit, MI 48207
Located on Detroit’s East side, the mission behind Tyree Guyton’s Heidelberg Project (“HP”) is to draw the community together improve lives through outdoor art. HP pieces embrace diversity, culture and Detroit itself.
John R St &, E Kirby St, Detroit, MI 48202
On the Ford Campus of Art Centre Building in Midtown, the Josephine F. Ford sculpture garden features 12 handcrafted sculptures. A collaboration between the Detroit Institute of Arts and Center for Creative Studies, the sculpture garden is the first of its kind in the city — and it’s open to the public.
