1. How has coronavirus impacted your daily routine and life overall?

The coronavirus has totally affected my daily life and slowed down the traffic at my store. We have customers who are quarantined at home and not visiting our brick- and-mortar store. However, our online orders have increased quite a bit and we are shipping more packages than [usual]. I think everyone is trying to be cautious right now on their own terms. I personally have been traveling to work and then returning home.

2.  What are you doing to stay “sane” during this time?

Although I cannot go to the gym and get drinks with friends, I have switched my workout time to evenings. I have been exercising in my living room while watching Hulu versus going to the gym after work. My boyfriend and I have been cooking dinner together every night to create a “date”-like activity as well! Trying to keep it as normal as possible at our house!

3. What measures are you taking to keep you and your family safe?

We are definitely keeping everything clean. My boyfriend is off of work so he isn’t leaving the house a lot and thankfully my brick-and-mortar is lower traffic right now so it’s easier to keep up with the cleaning. We are taking a lot of vitamin C and stocked up on Airborne and Emergen-C!

4.  Can you share any recommendations for things to do to stay busy?

I think if you can find a book to read, do it! An hour of silence and reading every morning/night can keep you grounded. I also think [you should] run in your neighborhood/complex to keep moving and stay active. Of course we all want to binge-watch TV but find a new show to watch at night, one episode a night, and stretch while you watch it. Make pizza with your boyfriend and vote who has the best. Try new recipes, clean the garage and catch up on spring cleaning. This is what we are doing right now to stay sane and keep ourselves distracted from the craziness.
