1. How has the Coronavirus impacted your daily routine and your life overall?
As a pregnant momma who is due any day now, the biggest challenge I’m having is not letting too much information flood my mind and disrupt my “zen.” It’s imperative I keep positive and mentally strong as I prepare for a healthy birth.
2. What are you doing to stay “sane” during this time?
My little ones and I have been enjoying playing dress up together and working on school-type projects using creative toys like Magna-tiles, puzzles, Legos, and good old Crayons! I’ve also been giving each child alone time in their rooms which seems to be working out nicely for everyone’s sake. And baking! My kids absolutely love to bake with me.
3. What measures are you taking to keep you and your family safe?
We are trying to stay away from the general public as much as possible right now. Even neighbors, sadly! If we do have to go out, we are taking the advice of the governor very seriously. And when we’re home, fueling our soul[s] with lots of music!
4. Can you share any recommendations on things to do to stay busy? (ie: books you’re reading, TV shows you’re watching, activities, etc.)
When I’m not entertaining my little ones, I love catching up on podcasts. I’m really into pregnancy and motherhood podcasts right now. I love how I can always be learning something new from really incredible women. I also love reading my pregnancy books before I fall asleep at night after the kids are down. I wish I had the time to get into a good show but by the end of the night after a bit of reading, I’m completely exhausted! #momlife
