We all have our favorite denim that works in every season, but reworking them for warmer weather can be a challenge. Here are three of the best denim trends right now and how to style them in the winter and transition them into spring.
Cropped skinny jeans, like this Kut from the Kloth pair from Evereve, pairs perfectly with your favorite winter sweater, faux fur and over the knee boots on a cold winter day. Bring on some sunny vibes by wearing something fun, like this blush fringe top from Shein, and add espadrille wedges, tassel earrings and a straw bag.
High Rise Vintage
If you’ve jumped on the ’90s vintage high-waisted jean trend, you know just how comfy, flattering and easy these jeans are. I love this budget friendly version from H&M that I wear with a long-sleeved thermal and an extra-soft oversized coat from Urban Outfitters (it’s reversible!). One of the best things about spring is bringing out favorite items — the best basics – like a striped blouse and a trench coat. Pair with classic loafers and a quilted bag for effortless chic.
Overalls have become one of my favorites. They are perfect for everyday errands, and this pair from Madewell is super flattering with a skinny cut. In winter, I like to wear them with a pattern like stripes, sock booties and a modern coat. Swap the pattern for texture with this lace mock neck turtleneck from Free People. Its pretty pink pastel gives me all the spring feels. Converse sneakers are also a must-have for spring days.
