Sneakers & Speakers hosted by Focus: HOPE will feature prominent leaders and raise money to overcome racism and poverty in Detroit.

Focus: HOPE Young Professionals will host its first Sneakers & Speakers event Friday, Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. at Lear Innovation Center in Detroit.
Focus: HOPE is a nonprofit that works to overcome social and economic injustices in Metro Detroit. The Sneakers & Speakers fundraiser, sponsored by SEEN, will showcase panelists who use their platforms to influence positive change in Detroit. Speakers will have the opportunity share their story and teach others how they can also affect change in their communities.
Panelists include Camille Walker Banks, executive director of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, Greg Schwartz, co-founder and COO of StockX, Sebastian Jackson, founder of The Social Grooming Club, and Dayne Bartscht, co-founder of the Eastern Market Brewing Company.

Through the help of donations, Focus: Hope is able to provide programs like youth development, community revitalization, career connections and community safety. The nonprofit invites everyone to join their mission of creating practical solutions to combat racism, poverty and injustice for future generations.
