Detroit Philanthropy to host its signature event, Perspectives in Philanthropy: How Our Community is Strengthened When We All Give from the Heart on Wednesday, June 22, from 8-10 am, at the Detroit Athletic Club.

The morning will feature a panel discussion focused on shifts in giving trends and how working together impacts us all. Panelists include:
– Pierre Batton, vice president and program officer, Global Philanthropy, JPMorgan Chase & Co.
– Beth Correa, senior vice president and director of corporate responsibility, Flagstar Bank
– Angelique Power, president and CEO, The Skillman Foundation

“The focus of philanthropy and its impact on nonprofits has been reshaped in the past couple of years,” said Rachel Decker, president, Detroit Philanthropy. “This discussion will help those actively working in the sector to understand how to harness the trends and why collaboration is so critical to driving meaningful change in our community.”
