As part of Makers ‘N Shakers’ community art initiative, on Wednesday afternoons 3 times a month the art studio and makerspace will be open for community members to enjoy making art while hanging out and getting to meet new friends. We will have coffee and light refreshments available for everyone to enjoy. The event is open to all types of visual artists and crafters such as fiber arts (knitting, crochet, embroidery), scrap booking, painters, sketch artists, beading, etc. Just bring your current art project with you to work on during the open studio time. Each month there will be a special craft that attendees are welcome to make as well. The children’s makerspace area will also be available for finding materials to create with, as well as the slime / play dough making station will be open.
All Ages (children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult)
Drop-In: “Pay What You Can”
Suggested Registration Rate of $5 per person (care givers making art with their child can create for free)
