Ingredients:
1.5 oz. London dry gin
3/4 oz. fresh lemon
3/4 oz. cinnamon, nutmeg or allspice syrup
3 oz. Rooibos tea
Shake, serve.
Drink with Zinzi Clemmon’s novel “What We Lose.”
Maya’s Apple

Ingredients:
2 oz. Journeyman Distillery Silver Cross Whiskey
1/4 oz. ginger infused honey
1/2 oz. roasted apple demerara syrup
3/4 oz. lemon juice
2 dashes Bittercube Jamaican #1 bitters
Shake, serve over ice.

Mama Agba’s Tea

Ingredients:
1 oz. chamomile infused vodka
1 oz. white rum
1/2 oz. blood orange liqueur
3/4 oz. honey syrup
2 dashes lavender bitters
1/4 oz. liquid butterfly pea flower
Serve over ice and top with soda. Use a lemon wedge for garnish (and to set off color change).
