Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipe

April 23, 2020

Danialle Karmanos, host of the Karma Has Spoken Podcast, shares her favorite allergy-friendly banana bread recipe

By Danialle Karmanos

My girlfriend Cathy has recently shared her “famous banana bread” recipe with me and I can’t get enough of it! It’s delicious, easy to make and nut-free, making it allergy- safe and the perfect treat to serve your family. I use fresh eggs from my chickens in the recipe, making it that much more special. Bake it for your family, your friends or yourself, I’m not judging — it’s that good!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 3 tablespoons of water
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 3/4 cup of flour
  • 4 large handfuls of chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Use an Emerson blender to mash bananas and water in a small bowl.

In another larger bowl, mix butter and sugar and then blend in the eggs.

Add the bananas and fold in the remaining dry ingredients. If necessary, you can use the blender again for a couple pulses.

Next, fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour into a greased loaf pan, sprinkle more chocolate chips on top and bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

Hey, It seems to be amazing! This chocolate chip banana sounds yummy and is healthy too because of bananas. The father just doesn’t eat the fruits so I have to try something new for him so at least he can have a little fruit intake. Thanks for sharing this.
