KING TUTANKHAMUN: "Wonderful Things" from the Pharaoh’s Tomb January 17 - August 22, 2022 2022 marks the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the tomb of the boy Pharaoh (King), Tutankhamun. Described as an innocent puppet-ruler, Pharaoh Tut was caught in the middle of a political, spiritual, and artistic revolution, initiated by his father, Pharaoh Akhenaten. Teens Work Out for Free at Orangetheory Fitness-Detroit

Orangetheory Fitness Detroit 2911 West Grand Boulevard, Detroit

Orangetheory Fitness-Detroit is launching its “More Life for Detroit Youth” summer program to help Detroit teens live a healthier lifestyle. From June 1-August 31, local students ages 14-18 are invited to take advantage of Orangetheory’s popular science-based workout, centered on heart-rate based interval training and led by highly trained and certified coaches, free of charge. The workouts incorporate endurance, strength, and power to generate the ‘Orange Effect’ – which keeps calories burning for up to 24 hours after a 60-minute workout. Certified fitness coaches will be on-hand to guide local high school students through an Orangetheory workout and offer options for all levels from beginner to year-round athlete.
