Corner Shower and Laundry’s 4th Annual Cookie Walk/Bake Sale

Corner Shower and Laundry's 4th Annual Cookie Walk/Bake Sale hosted by Temple Beth El's Sisterhood will take place online again this year. Visit www.cornershowerandlaundry.com/cookie-walk to view the great variety of homemade holiday cookies, and related giftware, that is available for sale. Cookies are sold by variety, by the half dozen, for $5. Order online from November 14 through December 5, for curbside pick up of your treats on Sunday December 12 from 12:30 pm - 2:30pm at Temple Beth El, 7400 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. Proceeds from this sale will benefit Corner Shower and Laundry, a 501(c)3 organization, that provides FREE shower and laundry services for those that are unsheltered or otherwise in need. Consider donating new men's socks, winter hats/gloves, and/or body spray/spray deodorant to a collection bin that will be at curbside pick up.

104.3 WOMC will host its 4th annual Radiothon to raise funds for children treated at Beaumont Children’s. A Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals event, the 104.3 WOMC Turn Up the Miracles radiothon will broadcast live from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Artichoke Garlic Foundation Red Tie Hour will be part of the radiothon hosting activity during the last hour of the event, 5pm - 6 pm, proceeds will specifically fund the services of Beaumont’s Center for Exceptional Families (CEF) in Dearborn. The hour will feature generous donors, matching gifts and special guests. The Artichoke Garlic Foundation Red Tie Hour is presented by the Toni A. Wisne Foundation. The radiothon is presented by Community Choice Credit Union and is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals event. Tune in as the radiothon broadcasts live from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event will highlight local patients and families, as well as offer incentives for donations.
