Learn how to get from a graphic design to a printed poster in six hours. In this small hands-on class (limit 4 students), we go through the steps of preparing transparencies, coating and exposing screens, setting up a print job, printing with water-based ink, and cleaning up. Ten sheets of 12.5" x 19" paper are included in the class fee; you may bring more if you'd like. We will provide the two-color artwork for you to print. This class is great for anyone who has never done silk screen printing, and those who have but would like to brush up on their skills. This class can be preceded by our Intro to T-shirts, or followed up with our Intermediate T-shirt class for anyone who does not have screen printing experience but would like to become a member to print at our shop. Please note that due to the nature of screen printing, we will be standing for much of the class. There will be an approximate 1-hour lunch in the middle of the day.
