About 250 people gathered at Palazzo di Bocce in Lake Orion on March 9 for the 12th annual Bocce Palooza. The event, hosted by The Mary and Charles A. Parkhill Foundation for Spinal Cord Rehabilitation and The Recovery Project, raised funds to help people with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. Over the years, the event has raised nearly $600,000 in scholarships to help patients nationwide with medical costs.
