It’s been a long winter, and we’re ready for spring! With temperatures on the rise we’re ready to get out the house and on to the town. Here are some of our favorite events happening in March. Follow along with LittleGuide Detroit, and discover more events, activities and classes near you.
It’s Maple Syrup Month, in Michigan and parks around town are open for families to help tap the trees and enjoy a sweet treat on their pancakes.
March 1 – April 14
The Library Street Collective
The Library Street Collective is bringing a new interactive art installation to downtown Detroit. This time, guests of all ages are invited to play in a massive ball pit while looking out at Campus Martius Park.
Little Caesars Area
For all your little truck lovers — it doesn’t get much bigger and better than Monster Jam! Get ready for some engine roaring, truck racing and monster tricks at Ford Field this month.
Put on some green and have some fun! Celebrate at home, at the parade in Corktown, search for leprechauns at Kensington Metropark or find Poppy at Heritage Park — there’s plenty of ways to plan a lucky day.
Restaurant Week in Royal Oak and Troy
Skip the kitchen and take the family out to dinner at some of the best restaurants in Oakland County. Or even better, make it a date night! Royal Oak Restaurant Week is March 1-10 followed by Troy Restaurant Week March 10-15.
Franklin Athletic Club
Bounce into spring at the Franklin Athletic Club. Littles will love running around the gym, playing on inflatable bounce houses and meeting a popular long-eared friend.
