St. Mary’s Polish Country Fair

The nation’s largest high school fair equipped with rides, authentic Polish food, music and fun! Join the sport or bingo tents for the adults, or the many games and rides for the kids. This will be the 47th Annual St. Mary’s Polish Country Fair, making Memorial Day exciting for all.
Detroit Movement Music Festival
1 p.m. to midnight
Hart Plaza, Downtown Detroit
Four days, five stages, over 75 performers. Movement weekend will be one to remember for lovers of electronic music. A one- or three-day pass can be purchased at the event or movement.us/tickets2018.
Memorial Day Block Party in Detroit
Noon to 2 a.m.

CJ Barrymore’s Memorial Day Special

Enjoy speed? Drive the tracks at CJ Barrymore’s during two sessions starting at 11 a.m. or 5 p.m. Each session includes unlimited rides per person for $25. Wristbands are limited. Buy yours at cjbarrymores.com. Minors must be accompanied by an adult above 18 years old to enter and enjoy the park.
Farmington Memorial Day Parade
Join the annual procession through downtown Farmington. The parade will last 2 hours and end with a memorial service to honor Farmington and Farmington Hills veterans.
Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade

An event to honor our veterans, the parade starts at Lincoln and Main and proceeds north through downtown Royal Oak. Bring the kids to learn about honoring the veterans past, present and future.
Novi Memorial Day Run

8:15 a.m. 5k run/walk
9 a.m. 1 mile family run/walk
Fuerst Park (corner of 10 Mile and Taft Road)
Enjoy a run or walk for your entire family, including your dog! All finishers receive an award, and a parade will follow. This run can be your family’s one-stop-shop for a fun filled memorial day. A portion of proceeds benefit local charities, youth groups and the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. Bring any canned food item for donation and get $5 off your registration fee.
