Donate your vacation home
Getty Images/iStockphoto Camp Casey’s new Lone Star Getaways allow families to enjoy a private vacation with their children who have a life-threatening illness. Donations could be everything from an Airbnb gift certificate to a week at a homeowner’s vacation residence.
Schedule an automatic, monthly donation
Reeser says monthly donors not only make a huge impact on children and families by helping deliver happiness on horseback; they also receive membership to Camp Casey’s exclusive Gold Spurs Club.
Create an office fundraising activity
A fun way to raise donations for Camp Casey may be to offer a “casual Friday” event where your staff can wear jeans or other comfortable clothing for $5 or $10, Reeser says. Every donation then can go to Camp Casey to fund its programming.
Help with a wish list
Supplies are always needed for the fun activities Camp Casey brings to its kid-focused events, and the organization needs everyday supplies in its office as well. To help with the programming goals, you can contribute to its supply wish list on Amazon or through a donation. camp-casey.org/donate
Volunteer for a Horsey House Call
Because each house call needs at least five volunteers, Camp Casey is always looking for people 16 years and older to join its volunteer crew. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license, pass a required background check, and be in good physical health. camp-casey.org/volunteer
