2nd Annual Vegan/Vegetarian Tasting Competition

Try a variety of vegan and vegetarian food as six chefs whip up some of their best dishes. Guests will be able to sample food from each chef and vote for their favorite. The event will be hosted by comedian John J Bell and includes a cookbook signing and a live performance. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 here or for $15 at the door.
Donut Fest Detroit

Eastern Market Brewing Company has wrangled some of the sweetest donut shops Metro Detroit has to offer. Donut enthusiasts will receive samples from each vendor, coffee and drink tickets for beer. Purchase VIP and general admission tickets here.

Food Truck Brunch Sundays
1820 E. Nine Mile Road, Ferndale
Detroit Fleat will be rolling out brunch in Ferndale every Sunday this month! Expect something new each week as different trucks come to serve food. As with any great brunch, there will even be a Bloody Mary and mimosa bar.
Michigan Brewers Guild 11th Annual Detroit Fall Beer Festival

Calling all craft beer lovers! The Michigan Brewers Guild will bring nearly 1,000 beers from breweries across the state for attendees to sample. Tickets start at $45 and will include tokens for 15 samples and live entertainment. More information on the event can be found here.
