Although relatively new, Shepherd’s Hollow is ranked by Golf Digest as the 42nd best golf club in the country. Its 27 amazing holes of Championship golf make it a popular retreat for advanced players. Its private setting among the woods is a wonderful sight, and its excellent range of facilities and pro shop only add to the experience. It’s not exactly an easy course to play, however, with its hilly terrain and elevation changes. On the course’s website it states that it “requires thought and imagination” from players when playing the challenging 27 holes. It can get rather pricey as well, especially during peak summer weekends, but it’s definitely worth a trip just for its beauty and exclusive atmosphere.
