The second annual Grosse Pointe Art Fair will be held May 18–19 at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club in Grosse Pointe Shores. This free event is open to the public and features an all-media fine art invitational with 35 artists.
Karyn Stetz, the art fair’s producer, is excited to share the selected artists this year. When asked what inspired her to produce this event, Stetz says, “the east side needed an art fair and Grosse Pointe Shores is a perfect place to connect amazing artists to a unique and beautiful community.”
Woodrow Nash is a sculptor working out of Akron, Ohio. His work combines clay, glaze finishes and adornments to create powerful pieces examining world tribal culture and the human physique. His statues are collected internationally by celebrities and affluent sports figures. View his gallery here.

Up and coming landscape painter Randi Ford has a distinctive style based on Michigan scenes. She achieves her “flow-style painting” by entering a meditative state and listening to music while working. As a Michigan native and Grand Rapids resident, Ford loves to immerse herself into the gorgeous natural beauty of Lake Michigan to induce inspiration. View her gallery here.

The art fair is in partnership with the 31st annual Great Lakes Boating Festival, and proceeds will support nonprofit Grosse Pointe Youth Nautical Education Foundation, a community outreach program dedicated to maritime education, water safety and community improvements.
All art is available for purchase at the artists’ tents and will feature a variety of paintings, jewelry, photography, sculptures and more.
Free parking is available at Grosse Pointe North High School, and a free shuttle will take guests to and from the Yacht Club.
