First stop in Detroit: Detroit Foundation Hotel. This industrial yet elegant hotel is the perfect place to rest your head. Not to mention, The Apparatus Room serves craft cocktails and mouthwatering cuisines. Once you’ve indulged, burn off some calories by walking over to Campus Martius.

On your way, make sure to stop by Bon Bon Bon and pick up the ‘Better Butter Crunch’ chocolate, which is a Detroit staple. But trust me, you will end up with more than one ‘bon’ because they are unique and full of flavor.

Once you’ve made your way to Campus Martius, enjoy some hot chocolate or ice-skating at the rink. Since it’s the season for giving (and receiving), make your way to Detroit is the New Black for a classic tee or hoodie that represents the revitalization of the city. But you will need to pair it with a new pair of jeans, so look no further than Detroit Denim.

After you’ve selected the perfect fit, it’s time for another quick bite to eat. Head over to Supino Pizzeria and enjoy the best pizza the city has to offer. The Eastern Market is right across the street, so you can also enjoy food from local vendors. If you’re looking to capture some beautiful photos, you will find incredible murals all throughout the Eastern Market vicinity.

From there, enjoy the beautiful sights of the Detroit Institute of Art. You will be amazed by the impressive art collection; it’s truly a Detroit gem. After exploring the best of Detroit, head over to Bad Luck Bar for a unique cocktail and unforgettable experience.
