The newly expanded, lively outdoor patio is the place to be on a Saturday or Sunday morning. With tableside bubbly bars, a robust and wildly inventive menu and live entertainment, this could easily turn a morning into an afternoon or even an evening affair.
Ultra-creative and indulgent, the brunch menu leaves little to be desired. For those with a sweet tooth, the Sparkling Sweetness portion of the menu will make your head spin. From Red Velvet Pancakes smothered with cream cheese glaze, fresh strawberries and maple syrup to the Banana Foster Pancakes topped with toasted pecans, Chantilly cream and maple syrup, your taste buds will be in heaven. For those with more of a savory palette, there are plenty of options such as Tenderloin Tacos or Breakfast Sliders. Looking for something green, fresh, organic? The Tuna Poke Bowl, Fresh Ricotta & Beet Salad, or 220 Chop with Organic Salmon are amazing choices. Specials such as Salmon Eggs Benedict, Wagyu Hash and Shrimp & Grits abound. The cuisine and presentation will dazzle and keep you coming back for more.
As crafty and imaginative as the food is, the cocktails are bountiful masterpieces unto themselves. The Bubbly Bar takes Mimosas to a whole new level with a tableside Champagne Caddy featuring an abundance of fresh fruit, champagne and juice. Another fun option for the table is Bubbly Champagne Punch, served in a gorgeous crystal carafe. The 220 Bloody Mary is always a solid choice that sits among several other yummy items on the cocktail menu.
“While our revamped brunch menu keeps several core favorites, our executive chef and his team were able to get really creative and introduce several new over-the-top dishes,” said Michelle Gaglio, Director of Operations for The Iconic Collection. “Guests can immerse themselves in a world of decadent dishes and live music while relaxing on 220 Merrill’s lush and expanded spacious outdoor patio.”
