In 2012, after completing college as a young mother Arielle founded Fierce Empowerment, a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission to restore broken communities by transforming the lives of women and families. Fierce supports women and girls through four initiatives: Fierce Mentors, Fierce Professionals, Fierce Families & Fierce Communities.
Fierce Families hosts playgroups and parenting classes for mothers in Detroit’s Central and Brightmoor neighborhoods. Fierce professionals works closely with their partners to train men and women on professional development, customer service skills and the hospitality industry. Fierce mentors host leadership boot camps for high school girls and provides connection to mentors. The Fierce Communities initiative executes several community events, such as: community baby showers, back to school events and Christmas programs.
Arielle was 1 of 50 Entrepreneurs selected to be a 2019 Tory Burch Fellow where she was brought to NYC to train with business leaders from all over the world, connected to a massive network of successful women business owners and given a $5,000 grant. She was elected as the 2018 - 2019 New Leaders Council Detroit Institute Chair. In 2018 she beat over 200 companies to pitch in the National Black MBA Scale Up Pitch competition in 2018 at the National Conference in Detroit. Arielle won the 2019 EmpowerHer Pitch Competition by the Ford Fund and Michigan Women Forward. She was nominated and Inducted into the 2019 Michigan Meetings & Events Magazine Hall of Fame as the Upcoming Supplier of the Year. Additionally, she was recognized as a change agent in the community for Women's History Month by TvOne & CleoTV.
With a desire to blend her professional success in the hospitality and events industry with her love for her community Arielle founded a social enterprise, Fierce Staffing & Consulting, a hospitality staffing and consulting agency. Fierce Staffing specializes in customer experience and event execution. They provide staffing solutions to businesses in the hospitality and events industry, especially supporting smaller businesses in Detroit. Staffing solutions include, temporary staffing, temp-to-hire and direct placement. Fierce Staffing also offers consulting services that support businesses with creating an effective customer service strategy and evaluating their current approach to delivering services. The events consultants support with the event management process for clients from staffing plans and budgets to execution and reconciliation.
Fierce Staffing recruits individuals in need of work opportunities with community partners such as, Fierce Empowerment a 501(c)(3) founded by Arielle, the Detroit Branch NAACP and Brilliant Detroit. They work with partners to provide detailed training in hospitality, professional development and customer service skills. After training, participants are eligible to be placed in hospitality positions with the clients of Fierce Staffing.
