She is the only Female African American Funeral Home manager in Oakland county and one of the few in Michigan.

Tell us about the individual’s accomplishments:

Member of Lane's college (HBCU) Lifetime alumni association. Member of AKA inc. Licensed funeral director in the state of Michigan. Manager of Haley Funeral Directors in Southfield, Michigan.

How is he/she impacting the community or the lives of people in Metro Detroit or across the world.

She had held several seminars to inform the public about pre-planning for final arrangements. She held a contest to give away two free headstones. Her basis for this contest was that she noticed how many people could not afford a headstone after burial and she decided to give two away free . She works with those in need to ensure their love ones are memorialized with dignity.
