The Go Red for Women Luncheon hosted by the American Heart Association took place at Ford Field on Feb. 15. The event featured a silent auction and beauticians offering free services. Fox 2 News anchor Deena Centofanti was the emcee for the luncheon intended to raise awareness about heart issues among women. According to the American Heart Association, cardiovascular diseases claim the life of a woman about every 80 seconds. The event also presented a scholarship winner and a live auction for items like a Las Vegas getaway.
