Hundreds of Metro Detroiters stripped down during the annual Cupid’s Undie Run Feb. 10 at The Fillmore Detroit. The event, hosted by Quicken Loans, aimed to raise awareness and funds for the Children’s Tumor Foundation and neurofibromatosis, a rare genetic disorder that creates tumors on nerve tissue. Although the race was called off due to snowy streets, participants filled the theater to enjoy drinks, dancing and even some pushups. The nationwide fundraiser hoped to raise $5 million among all participating cities, with the Detroit location raising nearly $100,000.
