10 Indoor Activities to Do with Kids on a Snow Day

When it’s too cold to venture outdoors, keep your kids entertained with these fun and cozy indoor activities.

 1. Watch a movie together

Sometimes, all anyone wants to do on a snow day is curl up with some hot cocoa and watch their favorite movie. Embrace the cold with movies like “The Princess Bride,” “Ice Age” or “Ice Princess.”

2. Play a board game

Spend some quality time together with a fun board game. Engage your kids with games like Monopoly, The Game of Life and Candy Land.

3. Build a fort

Have your child pick out his or her favorite blankets and pillows and build a fort! When you’re done, snuggle under the covers and read them their favorite book.

4. Bake cookies

5. Play balloon volleyball
